HAPPY 8th ANNIVERSARY!!!!

We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all our members who attended our eighth anniversary party! It was a wonderful evening filled with camaraderie, laughter, and of course, chess.

Over the past eight years, we have hosted more than 500 events, creating countless memories and friendships along the way. Your passion for the game has been the driving force behind our success, and we are truly grateful for each and every one of you.

A special shout-out to the incredible live music acts that made our celebration even more memorable: Daydream Time Machine, High Flight, The Flamenco Souls, and 2Smooth. Their performances brought a vibrant energy to the night, and it was a joy to see everyone enjoying the music together.

It was a privilage to host this event in collaberation with the Highland Park Chess Club, NoHo Chess Social, Hollywood Pushers, OnePint Chess, Masterpiece Chess Academy, the Rookie Chess League, the Burbank Chess Club, Burbank Chess Social, ChessCastle, and several other local LA clubs! 

Thank you once again for being part of our journey. Here’s to many more years of exciting chess games, engaging events, and a strong community!

Chess Social October 27th, 2023

Thanks to everyone who came out to our Chess Social and King of the Hill Tournament! Had a wonderful turnout and the music was incredible. NM Karl took the title of King of the Hill, taking home a $100 prize. Live acts included Randy G, Unpopable feat Lou Reed's Rhythm Section, Oriana and Company, and Jukebox Cartel! 

Our next event will be November 25th!

This was a special night! It was especially fun to host RoSaWay, an act that came all the way out from Paris to perform for us! The four-player-chess was also a hit and will definitely return.  Also worth stating that this was our 365th event! Thank you to everyone who came through!

Blitz Tournament Results May 9th

Thank you to everyone who came out and supported! In first place we have Rey, followed by Victor in second place. One of our favorite officers, Cris Cruz, was able to take third. The club would like to recognize tournament coordinators Bryan Rivera, AJ Srivastava for running this event smoothly. There will be another tournament this month on the 18th. (Which will alo be blitz)
